Game Description
World War: D Day 1944 is a first person shooter single player game that recreates the major stages of the Normandy invasion during World War II. The campaign will take you from the Allied landings on the beaches to nighttime operations involving airborne forces, with missions inspired by historical events.
The game features a large selection of guns that were used during the Second World War. Players move through a series of missions and episodes, moving through recreated battlefields, using cover during firefights, and working alongside AI-controlled allied soldiers.
Its new 3D physics system, new shaders, and redrawn environments and 3D audio are meant to create a more immersive battlefield atmosphere. Important stages also unlock cinematic scenes that help tie the individual missions into a larger D-Day campaign.
