Paradise Killer is a first-person investigation adventure set on a strange island built around an ancient civilization and its obsession with resurrecting alien gods. When the ruling Council is murdered just before the creation of a new version of Paradise, investigator Lady Love Dies is brought back from exile to uncover what happened.

Rather than following a fixed investigation, the game gives players considerable freedom to explore the island, talk to its inhabitants, collect evidence, and decide how to interpret the information they discover. Every character has their own history, motives, and secrets, making conversations an important part of building a case.

Exploration is closely connected to the investigation. Players can search unusual locations, examine strange relics, uncover hidden areas, and solve puzzles that reveal additional evidence and pieces of the island's history.

When enough information has been gathered, players must decide who to accuse and construct an argument to support their conclusions. Different interpretations of the evidence can lead to different outcomes, making the investigation feel personal rather than completely predetermined.
