Game Description

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond has Samus Aran venturing out on yet another perilous mission across the galaxy. The story then takes her to the mysterious planet Viewros, where she will have to explore ancient environments, uncover hidden secrets and find her way back home. Along the way, she will encounter unfamiliar alien creatures.

Exploration is an important part of the adventure. Samus can scan statues and ruins for clues, look for new paths, solve environmental puzzles and use mysterious psychic powers she finds on Viewros. The planet is also inhabited by the Lamorn, an ancient alien race with a special request for Samus.

The game mixes first person exploration, combat and progression. Samus can also use the Vi O La, a sophisticated motorcycle that lets her move through the environment and fight enemies on the fly. Another important part of the story is a mysterious bounty hunter named Sylux. Nintendo lists the Switch version as a 1 player experience with TV, tabletop and handheld support.
